2020 Word of the Year

Happy New Year my friends!!!! I’m ringing in the New Year with my one and only hubby of 21 years in Niagara Falls with Bryan Adams!

Happy New Decade!   I feel excited for what 2020 will bring.  I finally picked my word of the year.  So excited for this word!

I started with a list of about 30 words and many of the words had a common theme of light, fire, shine, etc.  Ignite was the word that really stood out and I could take so many places.

The first things I do with my word of the year is google it, search it on Amazon, search the definition and search it in Pinterest.   It’s always fun to research my word and see what interesting things pop up.

I downloaded a book on Audible called On Fire.   I started before January 1st and I’m happy I did.   Such a great book.   Very inspirational.   The author was 9 when he was burned on 100% of his body.   He survived and thrived.   He is a motivational speaker which is so awesome.   I love speaking and really want to increase my speaking so this book is a great motivator for me.

I ordered a book called Ignite on Amazon.   It’s a book of devotions to spark Fearlessness, Faith and Love in everyday life.   Now how great does that sound???   See why I’m so excited about my word for 2020?   God will use this word to encourage, amaze and push me.  My job is to keep my eyes open and see what He is trying to show me through this one word.  He does it every year.
