Foster Care

My husband and I have been foster parents for 18 years.   We love it even though we work in a difficult and broken system.   We love the difference we have made in children’s and families lives.   We have had over 50 foster children and we will continue to foster for the next 14 years until our four year old is through the system.

I love speaking about foster care and I have many tricks I have learned along the way.   I speak at PRIDE (the foster parent training model in Ontario, Canada) and am in the process of training to become a PRIDE trainer.

I am working on adding the links to all my posts about foster care.
