Planning My 2020 Word of the Year

I don’t usually have that much trouble choosing a word of the year but for some reason 2020 seems like a big deal; more significant in some way. For whatever reason, I feel the word I choose needs to be a good one. I loved last year’s word so much and it was so amazing how that word kept popping up throughout 2019.  My 2019 word was power. 2018 was flourish. I loved both words so much maybe I just haven’t found a word I love as much yet.

Here’s some of the words I have considered so far:

Thrive /nourish /transformation /serve /inspire /radiate /ignite /imagine /deeper/ treasure /radiant /faith /spectacular /empower /give /wonder/ hope /vessel /unleash /cheer /listen /love /marvelous /mercy /victory/ shine /agape

I’m hoping that one of them will jump out at me over the next few days! Stay tuned for my January 1st reveal of my 2020 word of the year! Just as I did last year I’ll be giving away a custom metal cuff to one lucky reader with your own word of the year. All you have to do is post your word of the year in the comments on my January 1st blog post during the first week of January.

Happy word hunting!

  1. I’m pretty sure my word is going to be REACH. I love the synonyms for this and the definition. Really speaks to me.

I’ve had Abide and Breathe last couple of years.

    1. My word for 2020 is Thrive. This past year my word was Love – thy neighbor as thyself. And the year before it was Peace. Blessings to you in the new year!
